We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Dodd as our new Club Coaching Coordinator. For the first time in our history, we have contracted for this role, and while ever grateful to those who have coordinated coaching on a voluntary basis in the past, this significant investment in coaching marks a new era of growth and development for our players and coaches alike.
Chris Dodd brings a wealth of rugby experience to the club, having held several key roles on growing and sustaining the school and club game at the Rugby Football Union (RFU), including in their player pathway programme, as London and South- East Under 20s Head Coach. Chris has also served as Community Rugby Coach for several Premiership Rugby Clubs and is currently the club’s Head of Coaching for Women.
By supporting our coaches and players across all age groups in the club, the aim of this appointment is to foster an environment where our player and volunteer experience is more enjoyable and more supported than ever, enabling every member of the Chesham Stags Rugby Club community to thrive. Chris has been working with us over several months to fine-tune the role and to develop the accompanying On-Field Policy.
